Watch camper while mowing!

This happened to our unit on Wednesday. It is on the front side of the kitchen slide. No rocks were found in all of the glass, but of course it could've been really small. We were mowing the grass about 60 feet from the rig with weed eaters and mower. I've had a local glass company put in a temporary plexiglass sheet so we can camp next weekend and ordered a new one from my dealer. Be careful around them.

Doesn't take much of a rock when propelled at high speed.

Well that sucks. OTOH, I have to watch for alligators when mowing by my canal. A woman near by was bit the other day mowing hers. I told my DW she was going to be my spotter LOL.

That's funny, but not at the same time!
BTW, the window came in and it did not have the gasket material on it, so Keystone was called. They confirmed it was the correct window and said that I was to use the butyl putty tape to seal it I told them it had a rubber gasket and was told, NO, we seal them with putty. The parts departement at Keystone Montana has NO IDEA how the trailers are constructed. They went through several employees and NONE of them knew that the windows were sealed with rubber AND there is no part number to where you can order the material. AMAZING!!! I've been to three of the big box hardware stores and MAY have finally found a similar one that will work. I will try to let you know tomorrow if weather permits. This is just ridiculous!

"Dear Wife," of course. Some people interprete it as dumb, doopid, divorced, etc., but I would never think of such a horrible title.

That's what I was assuming the answer would be...but I wanted to find out for sure. "The only stupid question is the one that is never asked..."

Can you not reuse the gasket from the shattered window?

Ended up with the entire new unit and I think I've found a rubber weather stripping from MD at Lowe's that is sticky on the back. That's the reason couldn't use the one that was on it as it is stuck to the broken one and I couldn't get it off.

That tape is not the type for these windows on this unit. All of them have a 1/4" thick by 1/2" wide rubber weather stripping around them. It is carried by some Lowe's stores.
