Slide vertical wiper seal replacement

Hello I have a 2017 Montana 3790RD 5th wheel and I am trying to change one of the vertical wiper seals along the side of the slides. The reason for the change is due to water leaking around the cutout of the Schwintek drive track. The manufacture made too large of a cutout for the track.

Just a couple of questions:

1. Recommendations on good supplier of the replacement wiper seal.

2. Process for removing this seal.

3. Any notable guidance on preventing water from entering around the Schwintek drive track.

Thanks. See the attached pictures

This is where I get the seal material for our rig, which appears to be the same as on yours. There should be a screw at the top and bottom of the seal that goes through the metal that the seal attaches to. Remove the screws and pull the seal off. Then cut your new seal to length and in your case cut the opening for the drive track and install it onto the metal tab, and then install the screws and you are done. The seal material is cut by the foot, so you need to round up to the whole foot when ordering. http://www.trekwood.com/products/607...lip-On-1225-Bx

Agree with Rohrmann above. However, I just went to my dealer and bought what I needed. Actually I bought enough for several slides and some extra. Several places were starting to tear through.

I have replaced a couple of these seals. It as easy as Bob says. The dealer is where I have been getting mine. They usually have it in stock. I do suggest you cut off a small piece and take it with you. There are a bunch of different sized seals and it better to have an example instead of guessing.

I will be working on this shortly, thanks for the suggestions and the removal and installation help. Sure is great to have a community provide guidance on these sorts of items.
