Montys Arrived

Glenda and I have just come back from our Dealer, Outdoor Travel. The wait is over, our new 3475 has arrived. We ordered it on Jan 8. We gave it a quick checkover and everything seemed just as we ordered it. Unfortunately it still has the Dometic Remote and the Quest SRS. Keystone hasn't caught on just yet. Otherwise we love it.

We have now ordered all the add ons we need and should be able to pick it up in 2-3 weeks if we can get rid of some of this snow in front of our house!

Come onnnnn summer!

Congratulations! About the only thing that will make that wait bearable is the fact that there's too much snow in the way to do anything about.

Always exciting to hear a new owner share about his new Montana. Know you are anxious to get it on the road and start enjoying your Montana experience. Those 2 or 3 weeks will go quickley. Make sure you have your PDI list ready when you go to take delivery. Take lots of time and make sure everything meets your satisfaction before driving away from the dealers lot. May you enjoy many happy miles in your new wheel estate!

OK Brad & Glenda now comes the hard part . . . . . waiting for that &*()() snow to go away. Also making sure that Jodie and Tim get all the extras in place and working. Ours will be down there next month to have a washer/dryer combo installed and a propane switch over alert. At that time we will borrow Ken's car (so he has promised) so they can install air bags on the TV.

Hang in there the white stuff will go . . . . . eventually!

DiananColin - Please take some before and after pictures of your washer/dryer install. We have ours in and using it but we are not happy with the opening and we had to build a box for the back outside leg to set on. I am curious to see what a dealer does. We love the washer dryer by the way.

we had nothing but problems with the dealer installing ours. they just pulled it back out, put in a new shelf underneath it, and remounted it. they did a horrible job on the original install! we'll see how we like it now...after this stuff melts!

Sue & Ed - I will certainly do the before and after pictures. The after picture will not be until early May as we will not pick up the rig until then. I think it is frozen solid at present! If I forget (I've got a good memory but very short) please remind me.

Proud to hear that your Monty is where it is supposed to be. Received word today ours left the factory yesterday morning. Looks like we are on for sometime next week. Needless to say, we're ready. It was 80 degrees here today and already mowing grass, should have been on the road somewhere with the Monty.

Outstanding!! I agree, come on Spring!! Today was gorgeous in Houston. We went out last week in the drizzle. Much yard work at the stick house. I would rather had been RVing... Congratulations on your new rig.

80 Deg and cutting grass. I wish I could see my grass. I just came in from blowing snow out of our driveway.

Diana, I talked to Tim yesterday and got all of the add ons ordered. Will have to call Jodi next week to set up an appointment for PDI but honestly I don't think there's much point to anything earlier than second week of April. Outdoor travel is already booked out about 2 weeks in service.

We talked to Carmen yesterday and have decided to go with his undercoating, scotch guarding and permashine package. It's cheaper until April 1st when he starts to get busy. A lot of our friends have had this done on their coaches and are quite pleased with it.
