Morryde step above assist

I recently found out, through Morryde, that they offered a kit to add the assist option to existing steps above. They quoted me $199 through their parts department.
Has anyone tried this? Any word on show specials from Morryde? Maybe this could be added to the list of goodies.

Should be able to get a better price from rep at the rally. I got a very good price that way for a power cord reel a couple years ago.

Doesn’t seem to be available from any place except Morryde.

last year at the rally I purchased the steps, handle and box. they came out did the install.
don't really remember the price (400 or so) for everything. must have been good though because I swear they installed those on just about every unit out there.

The assist option is very new and I suspect now offered due to the lippert steps coming with it as standard. Don't know how I feel about having some space reduced in the doorway to have it in place.

The amount of space required for the assist seems to be minimal. On the OEM with assist there appears to be a small box on each side of the door opening that contains the mechanism.
As long as my wife can help me lift and lower the steps, I can wait for the rally unless shoulder replacement is required before than. If that happens I won’t need the assist as I will have a bionic shoulder. LOL

Door width

We had to drop our rig 4 hours from home at the nearest CW for repairs. The DW has decided she’d like the morryde solid steps and found a better deal on Amazon. Are the doors on Montana’s all the same size? We don’t know what size to order and the rigs not here. It’s a 2015. 3610rl. Any help would be appreciated

I believe there are two sizes. Contact Jennifer Gregory at Morgan’s she can help you.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it. I guess we go with a 26” because a 30” would be too big.
