Kitchen stoves
Can anyone tell me why the kit stove has only 1 burner that you can adjust from high to low heat , sharon pointed this out to me today and i find it kind of backward or cheep for the price of the montana ,, how much more would it cost to have 3 burners adjust from high to low, not just high ,, sailer

I find I can adjust the back burns but they are much more sensitive and temperamental.
But I know what you mean and they work with the opposite knob movement to reduce flame.

Even though the rear burner knobs only have OFF and HIGH/LITE markings on them, you can easily adjust the rear burners thru the full heat range by turning the knob back toward the OFF position. That is the opposite direction of the front burner knob. I can actually turn the rear burner down lower than the LOW position on the front burner.
The propane burners put out a lot of heat and high is way to hot for a lot of things.
Why they put different valves on the rear burners vs the front is beyond me.

That front burner is a high speed hi heat burner.. it is in the book somewhere. It was the same in our 1995 terry TT.

This stove has not changed in at least 15 years. We've had 3 fivers and the stove has been the same in all of them. As others have said, you can adjust the rear burners. There probably aren't to many stoves for RV's out there.
Happy trails.......................
