This is great! Loved it! Breakfast with the deer.
We had two deer this morning at the salt block we have for them. Close to the house.

I loved watching that video.
I bet those deer can be very destructive though, I've seen what they can do to house shrubs. Some folks have to put cages around them to keep them from being eaten.

We had a house in Heber Springs, Ark. and a Golden Retreiver. The Retreiver (Buffy) made friends with a wild doe(Pickles). He brought the deer back to the house and over the summer the Buffy and Pickles became great friends. We never fed the deer but would wake up in the mornings and the deer would be in the back yard waiting for the dog to come out.
Often the dog would lay in the grass and the deer would preen the loose hair from the dog.
They were always together.
We took pictures of them and at the end of the summer the doe took off and came back for a week and took off again. That's the last we saw of the deer.

Don't want to highjack the thread.... My mom had a pet deer. It was an orphan. They took her home and raised her. Had a big white dog, the deer and dog became great friends. They were always together. Sometime they would tie the dog to keep the deer home. They were afraid she would get hit by a car. They had her for several years and the sad thing happened. She did get killed on the road. The dog laid down beside her, my parents buried her on one of the highest hills around. The dog would not stay home after that. Maybe he was looking for her. He probably couldn't understand why the wild deer would run from him. My parents used the radio stations and newspapers to try to find him. He never came back. People would call and say they had seen him or one looked like him. He was a very unusual looking big dog.
