Are the AC’s sinked

We have a 3661RL 2017 Montana. It has two AC’s. The rear AC has a heat pump, while the bed room AC is typical. We set the living room AC 72* at night, along with the bed room AC at 70*. The bed room AC shuts off during the night while the living room never stops. The problem is that the bed room AC during the night will warm up to 78* and will not turn on no matter what the thermostat is set on. During the day, the bed room AC will come on. It’s very uncomfortable at night! We live in east Texas and our summers are brutal.

First of all, welcome to the forum! It sounds like you are feezing the bedroom unit up at night. If you haven't done the PVC pipe mod to your return air vents then that's part of the issue because your ducts will be collapsed. Also, if you close the door to the bedroom and bath you may not be getting enough return air. On our rig we've done the PVC, opened the supply vents by 2, cut down the extra shaft going into the ducts so the flow isn't restricted and leave the bathroom door open about an inch at night.

DQ, the bedroom should not need the PVC should it? If it's like me 305RL there is a direct return on the unit. I do agree on the freeze up but that might be due to low Freon. Wonder it its switched to feed ducts and their blocked, would that impact operation?

It does sound like freezing up. It may be worth checking the air ducts for a start.
Dont forget to cover the vents under the stairs and floor registers to trap your cold air inside the RV vise letting it into the basement.

They have a 17 with the whisper quiet in the bedroom (if it came with 2 from the factory) just like ours and yes they do need pvc in the ducts. Just showed that to another 17 parked behind us in this park.
