L.E.D. lights
Working in Wisconsin, I'll be in my camper till Jan 1st. after installing insulation in my windows to eliminate heat loss and stop the sweat on the lower part of the windows.its like a cave in here. " It is great to have the camper dark , working night shift." I hate the
lack of lights when needed and the yellowish hue from the incandescent lights I did some research. Purchased all new bulbs for the whole camper. all I can say is Wow. Its well worth the 315.00 to switch over. They use 1/10th the power and only get around 100* as apposed to over 200 with the stock bulbs. The place i bought them from was a place called M4 in California. Highly recommend these .

Since we went full LED we had to turn off some of our overhead lights and don't use some of our wall fixtures anymore. Too much light if we used everything we did before.

I don't like the lighting in my camper. I can never get the right lighting at night. It's always too bright or too dark.I tried replacing a couple of bulbs in my fixtures with Led's. I didn't like the light they put out. It was too harsh of a light. I'm going to install RGB led light strips with IR remotes like the one I install under my awning but that one is water proof. I purchased several 16' rolls of non water proof RGB led light strips, wires, connectors and mini IR 44 key remotes.I am going to install them as indirect lighting above, below and in the tow kick area of my kitchen and bathroom cabinets, on top of all my slide outs behind the wood trim and any place else that I think indirect lighting would look great. Like maybe inside the entertainment center too. I will have separate control of each light strip. This way I will have full control of each light strip independant of each other. I will be able to control which light strips I want on, what color and the brightness through out the whole camper. I'm still waiting on some parts before I can start planning the layout and wiring.

If you don't like the light from your LED'S try some from Michael&Kat http://www.filamentfree.com/
They spent a lot of time finding dependable led's with a pleasing light and they are much brighter than the incandescent bulbs

The key to having light that YOU like with leds is the output color of the light. Most used to be near 5000K (kelvin)...incandescent is around 2700k, warm light on the newer led lights is 2700 to 3400 depending on manufacturer and cost. John
