Let the mods begin -even before the rig is here!!

The quest to adapt the new 3750FL more to our needs has begun even before the rig has began it's journey from Elkhart to Kentucky. In the 3400RL, we used a countertop Vesta dishwasher that worked fine in that rig. Unfortunately, the new 3750FL lacks a little in the area of counter-top space and therefore we decided that the Vesta will not be an option in the 3750. We placed an order for a Frigidaire portable 18" dishwasher today that will find it's home in the new rig. We have not decided on the exact location where it will be living but are looking at setting it beside the fridge and to the left side of the dining room slide. We will add a wooden top to the dishwasher to allow us (that should really read DW) to regain some counter space that will most likely be used in a decorative fashion (doily with plants, etc.). Also came up with the idea of placing our ice maker under the counter extension and leaving the counter extension up (except when in transport mode of course). Next on the list is a new patio rug, small rug wrappers for the steps, and a sun-shade for the awning. The task of modifying the new rig in a more personal matter is exciting and we are looking forward to it. We are also looking at some ottomans for the living room area that have hidden storage in them as well and I have a hunch they will be in the rig before Thanksgiving. As always we are very receptive to modification ideas from others and will keep on posting the changes as they occur. Of course photos will be provided as always simply to provoke other members who will be thinking along similar lines. Here is a look at the dishwasher we selected:

Make sure my wife does not see that dishwasher. She might trade me in for it.
