Hey guys:
Just entered 14th year full timing. Had washer/dryer combo in SOB but removed after using only 5 times in first year. Now have a 2013 Montana 3800RE. Plumbed properly but we would rather use the park facilities when staying for any length of time and go to the laundromat where ever we end up in the 3 months we travel each year. Always meet interesting people in town laundromats. Get lots of local information.
Drive with care, everywhere.

I'd rather use a laundromat. The space in the closet is more usable in the rv.

"Interesting people" ... like the lady that was using a machine next to a friend, actually multiple machines. Laundry had an oder. When she took the 1st load out of the dryer and ran to the restroom to change it was easily seen why. All the brown from above her waist to down her legs. Evidently she was sick and would not use her machine at home for the wash. They installed a w and d after that episode .

Just installed a Splendide 7100XC in my 384BR. Not sure how I ever got by without it.
I'm not experiencing the many horror stories about wet clothes and wrinkles now that I've learned how to use it.

Didn't go with a stack unit or the 2100XC because I didn't want to drill a vent hole in the side of my fifth wheel rv.

We just sold our old DRV and bought a new one. Took the (15years old) stacked Kenmore units out of the old Mobile Suites and installed in our Monty. Hated loosing the closet but making adjustments. Sure is nice having a washer and dryer handy when you need something washed. We used this rig for three years without the machines. Used the laundromats at campgrounds and in town. We really like Corps of Engineers parks and we don’t normally see them there. We also like knowing what has been in our washer/dryer.....

Have stackable splendide Love having the convenience of being able to wash and dry anytime and not having to spend half a day at the laundry mat.

I'd rather use the campground facilities. No matter how many loads, 1 1/2 hours I'm done. It's my piece and quiet time to myself our 3820FK is plumbed for it, but I'd rather have storage. We camp with our 13 yo daughter for about a month and a half during the school break, and cover between 3,000-5,000 miles. I enjoy my breaks

Stacked W/D. Just bought our trailer and haven’t used it yet. We’ll be full-timing and thought they would be nice. Vented dryer. Heard too much negative about non-vented.

2018.5 3791RD. Storage is not an issue and we full time. 1st thing I did before I took delivery was to have the stackable Splendides installed. Love them.

Update. Wife uses them every day. She is glad she gave up the storage for them.

Best move for a happy wife unless your trips are a week or less. We go for months at a time often. The combos are mostly for a single person that has a lot of time to do nothing.

Spendide stackable WITH vent to outside. Love it. Venting to outside is only way to go imo cause it works like a real dryer with real heat, not throw the clothes around for hours in air.
