I hear guys say the tires are expensive. I say look in your rear view mirrors!
Actually the F450 turning radius is LESS than the F350. But the rest are bigger.

We let the specifications of the RV determine the truck. We have had two F-350 duallies.

Someone told me that the insurance on a 450 was double the price of a 350, because the Insurance company considered it a commercial size vehicle. Just putting it out there as a question that should be asked in planning anyhow.

Actually when I insured ours with National General there was some confusion.
They at first couldn’t find a rate for the F450 and quoted a 350. Then a supervisor found it under Semi/ HDT and it was less than the 350 go figure?
I even had to measure the truck bumper to bumper for the quote.

Rates will vary by state but Progressive was only slightly higher than the 2016 F350 srw that I traded in. And get multiple quotes because some companies may be trying to gain market share while others may be limiting their exposure.
