When CW in Las Vegas installed ours years ago, They mounted the dish about centered front to rear on the rig, and ran the cables to a location directly above the cabinet at the right front corner and came through the roof using the specially made device that seals the entry point, and attached +the cable to the roof surface in a number of places using cable clamps, with every thing sealed with Dicor sealant. Seeing as that cabinet is where the OTA comes in along with the booster, it made sense where it was brought in. You can't see the cables on the roof from the ground and there has never been a leak problem, and we have been very happy how it all works. We have two cable boxes, one for each TV, so existing cable worked as well.
