Installing progressive EMS-HW50C in 3701LK

Has anyone out there installed a hardwired EMS-HW50C in a 2018 3701LK? I have one from my previous camper but have been unable to find a location accessible to install it. If you have pictures that would be great. I have a portable one for use if I need it. Thanks in advance

Does you unit have an on-board generator or the generator prep? If so that makes for a good place to tie in the EMS. If not you may have to enter the belly of the beast to find a place to cut the main AC power feed.

Don't know your specific floor plan, but some of us have simply removed the rear wall in the pass thru storage and mounted it as needed.

I was pretty lucky that our rig has the electric panel high on the wall behind the toilet, and behind the panel is a large area above the closet where it is also prepped for a washer/dryer. I was able to mount the EMS on the outside wall, which has heavier paneling to support the unit. I purchased about five feet of the same cable that comes from the shore power connector and that eliminated having to cut that cable.

I need to check to see if it has the generator prep package but I don’t believe I do, I’m not able to reach the power cable from the pass thru storage just about 5 feet away and to narrow to crawl through. I’ll keep looking and keep you posted on what I find. Thanks for everyone’s input
