Do you have this disease?

Like most of us as we get older, we have aches and pains and other symptoms that weren't there when we were younger. Many of us experience such things as thinning of our hair, cracks and splits on our hands from cold weather, aching in the joints, lack of sleep, hearing loss, etc. To add to this you just feel crummy!! The list of symptoms just go on and on.

Our 12 year old granddaughter, Emma has come up with a diagnosis for these symptoms. She says it is called "Fall-aparta-crumatitis". She also prescribes for treatment a bag of potato chips once a month, cookies once a week, and a candy bar every day. That's cheaper than drugs and better tasting, as well.

Let me know if this works for her it might save me going thru my knee replacement. I think if I fix one thing something else will come up, like the other knee. Maybe I would need 2 bags of chips?

Is you grand daughter going to go into the medical field? I like her forms of treatment!
Just remember: Growing old sucks - but it beats the alternative!

We are learning that if we want to know ANYTHING, just ask our grandchildren and they will usually have a very interesting answer. I like the well thought out advice as prescribed by Emma. Thanks for posting.

You must have been following me around to come up with those symptoms.
I will do my best to take the medication, maybe a double dose.

I read Emma all your comments and she was very appreciative of all the compliments. However, she warns that there is a side effect if you overdose on the medication. It may cause another disease called "Blubberitis." This warning especially applies to those who are thinking of taking a double dose.
