Centering Image in Signature Area
I attempted to center the image currently in my Signature to no avail. I went into my profile and did the following:
modified the img area as: http stuff...
it centered however it left the img indicators on both sides of the image in the profile. These inst. shouldn't be in the visible signature should they?
Any assist is appreciated. Tks. Dennis

Heli 190,
You must have the picture you want located somewhere on the internet.
To post to your signature block you just go into your PROFILE. Post the appropriate Forum Code and whatever you want should start showing up.
There is a link on the HOME page that describes in detail how to do all this.

Heli 190, if you still have problems with this, email me. Click the envelope icon above this post to do that. I'll be on the road Monday.

AFter the very last "[/url" you a missing the closing bracket ] it should be
See if that is the only problem. If not I'll relook the link.

Wow. I forgot. There are a lot of tags that need to be changed to get it to work.
Try this.
The forum code does not follow standard HTML code for web page design. There are a few things you need to change to get it to work
Where you see [img]
where you see > change it to /img (enclosed in brackets []) followed by
Give a holler if all fails.

Using Wayne's instructions I came up with this code. Highlight and copy it in total and past it in your signature.
Good luck

Here is an easy way to center, change font size & color, etc. to change the signature in your profile for those of you that are not computer savvy. Pretend you are going to post a new topic. On that screen are all the tools you need to center, change font color, size, etc. Type what you want and paste your img file from Tinypic or Photobucket. Highlight your text and click on the button for the size, highlight again and click on button for color, etc. Order does not matter. Highlight your img statement and click on the button for center. Now highlight everything in the text box and right click, copy or edit, copy. Go to your profile, scroll down to the signature box and paste. You can preview while in the new topic area and also preview in your profile. If it is not what you want, go back and redo.
Happy trails.......................

John,
How in the heck did you get that to post in text form. everytime I tried it i would get an error image, or a partial listing. Did you just truncate everything with carriage returns?

For centering, preceede everything with the word center enclosed in the square [] brackets, and followed with /center enclosed in the [] brackets.
Sue's method works well also.

No Wayne, Glenn (two "N"s) taught me. You bold one of the brackets so forumco does not recognize the real code - so to center text you would use the above code.

John,
That is good information.
For as many years as I have known you, you are smart! I don't care what all those other people said.
