Waynesville is only 75 miles from our house back in Missouri. Fortunately, our house is on a hill so flooding is highly unlikely, but if it keeps raining.....................

Same thing is going on here in Kansas. Before we went to the Central States Rally we had .02" spread over 5 weeks. Since we've gotten back we've gotten 12.02" with 3-5" predicted for tonight and rain chances most of the next 15 days. Typical for us, however. First we pray for it to start, then we pray for it to stop.

Dick if you guys want to head up here and bring some of that rain with you, you are invited. We've had about two or three inches up here but anything would still be welcome. It's been really spotty here with rain out at the farm with an inch there but only a quarter of an inch here in Omaha. Rain has seemed to go around Omaha but just tease us!

Know that feeling. That was our story for the two previous years.

Same here. Our rain gauge only holds 5" and it topped that last night.

Living next to rivers and creeks are a major problem here in Branson. Luckily, we are on a nice sloop next to Table Rock Lake and we are higher than the dam, which is a good thing. Rain in the forecast everyday. I believe that it has rained the past 12 days in a row. Lake has been managed nicely and no threat so far. Thanks for the concern.

Flood gates closed now, just running the power plant gates at around 10,000 CFS.
