Floor question

Finally got our new Montana to the coast and haven't had any problems .. One thing we notice is the floor is pretty giving.. Bedroom area is pretty solid, except for squeaky flooring by shower and in front of refrigerator/entry really makes noise.. It has been this way at our home, and beach setup.. Is this anything to be concerned about? We notice Montana holds the heat much better than last rv, love the microwave/convection, still on the fence with the bed....

We have the 2007 3500RL. The floor in front of the fireplace squeeks. Haven't opened the underside yet, and can't wait to see whats I have to fix. Anyone have any idea what to look for? How is the floor sheeting attached to the coach?

Had a squeak in front of one of the chairs..When I took the carpet out and put down vinyl plank flooring I fixed the squeak.. It was a bolt that goes thru the floor and into one of the metal cross members..

Our 2010 floor has a bit of flex at the top of the stairs, and it bothered me a bit when we first got it home. But after 20,000 miles, and a lot of usage including three five month seasons in Florida, it has not caused any problems.

Great forums for solving problems. I recieved a message that by dropping the bottom panel that exposes the screws the flooring is screwed down with. Have someone step round to locate the squeek area. Take a pair of vice grips and grab the screw tip and start turning it til it snugs down. This works better then sticking shims between the frame and flooring. Shims may produce a slight hump in the floor. Hope this helps, and thank you forum.
