New Faucets

I would like to upgrade the faucet in the kitchen and bathroom. One with a pull out wand in the kitchen and a non plastic one in the bathroom. Is there anything different? Ours is in storage now but I would like to shop around now for one. Thanks!

Check out Lowes,,they have several really good quality single control "pull out" faucets for a couple hundred bucks

Check out Toolman's kitchen faucet! NOW THAT IS A FAUCET. Nancy wanted it put into her kitchen in the stick house but Roy wouldn't have it. I believe he said he got it at Costco at 1/2 the price of anywhere else. Has the pull out wand and soap holder. Roy is the gadget man you know. If there is something electronic or new you want to know about he is your MAN! If he doesn't know about it he will find out for you. I believe he said there is a picture of his faucet on this forum somewhere. Do a search under new faucet in the last year and the author is toolmanroy.

Shaneo, I changed both faucets this last fall. They are very easy to change, but watch the height on the bathroom one. I had to take the first one back and exchange it for a shorter one, it wouldn't clear the bottom of the medicine cabinet. Kitchen has a pullout nozzel and was about $100, bathroom was around $75. both with lifetime warranty. Don't throw the plastic ones away, if you trade to another unit, reinstall them and transfer the good faucets to your new unit. They also look a lot better too!

Yes, we posted a picture of our faucet on the forum. Look under our postings and you will find it. We did get it at Costco for about $90.

Kathi, you realize now that faucet will stay in the Montana until we trade it or sell it! Roy thinks it is too much of a conversation piece to take it out now.

Stay tuff Nancy, he may just give in and allow you to take it into the house. We saw them at Costco and everytime we go by them we both crack up. We always say there is ROY'S FANTASTIC FAUCET! It really is a nice faucet though. I am sure he is really proud of it to.

Here's a link to the kitchen faucet that we installed. Haven't done the bathroom yet but it's on the list to get replaced. Because of the way the individual pieces are mounted, the sink had to be removed and the countertop had to be notched out. That's one thing you might want to check out first.
