Level-Up Issue - Kudos to LCI Customer Support
Ok, I want to pass on kudos to Lippert Customer Service. Some time back someone had posted on the MOC site that they had one of the foot pads from their Level-Up system stay on the ground when they retracted. They suggested that we check the tightness of the bolts that attach the foot pad to the jacks. My Level-Up system was ~2 years old at the time and I checked and all were tight. After we left the Fall Rally this year, somewhere between Goshen and Davenport, IA one of mine fell off. Did not discover it until we got ready to set up when we got to Davenport. Well, I contacted LCI warranty and they sent me a replacement footpad and hardware free of charge. They now recommend that you put some Locktite on the threads of the retaining bolt. Will be doing this to all of the footpad bolts before we head back out on the highway.

Just made an entry in my "notes" on my I-phone. It will be the last thing I do when I hook up next month. Thanks for the heads-up! A lot of folks badmouth Lippert but it is good to hear their Customer Service came through.

This is a bolt that is inserted into the bottom of the jack. There is no place for nut of any kind.
