Montana Roof issues

I have a 2017 40' 5th wheel Montana. The roof membrane is delaminating near the front on the left and right side. No leaks. Is this normal and or is it covered under the ten year roof warranty? I am not sure it this is an issue or not or something I should have addressed. If it is an issue then I suspect a full roof replacement might be needed.

Welcome any advice.

Thanks

John

What do you mean “roof delamination”?

good question but if you think it is deteriorating get to a deal and have them evaluate it. it may be a major problem in the future and you are under a warranty.

Rubber membrane coming loos from the wood about the size of 3"-5" on both sides in the front near the cap. Looks like coach flex when traveling

It is perfectly normal to have loose/bubbles in the roof membrane. It will not affect anything.

Montana Roof

Thank you for the reassurance this is normal. I thought so but wasn't sure. New to big rigs.

Thank you everyone.

This doesn't sound normal. I would definitely have that checked out as that should be covered under the roof warranty. You may not see water leaking inside the camper but it could be leaking and causing damage before water shows itself inside. It could also be an indicator of another problem such as a structural failure which should also be covered under warranty. If it were me I would get it to a reputable dealer for evaluation.

Sounds like sealant not TPO. There are a few inches of sealant in that spot that could need attention. Should get up there 4 times a year to seal the TPO and not sealing equals not warranted.

It’s normal. Montana will not fix it. They will say that nothing is wrong.

Normal for most membranes to see some bubbles, etc. I’d be inspecting the roof membrane to front cap trim all across from edge to edge for any voids in the sealant. Voids will let air flow in and under the membrane and lift it and eventually start tearing it off. Not to mention leaks.

without knowing the year of trailer or having pics it is kinda of hard to give you much input. I'd at least get it to a dealer to assess the situation.
