Dometic Vacuum Bags
Has anyone found generic or suitable substitute bags for the Dometic central vac?

We found them online at Camping World. Haven't checked Walmart.

Mike, caution. You might find generic bags but the Dometic ones also contain filters that need to be changed occasionally.
Happy trails...........................

I bought the Dometic ones from CW for $8.99 for a pack of three. Probably won't find a generic brand for much cheaper....

Thanks for the input - guess I'll go ahead and get ours at CW.
Parrothead - thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware of the additional filter requirements.

I've been told by many that there are no generic bags to be found for the central vac system. I picked up a pack of 10 Dometic bags which also included 2 Motor Filters and 1 Exhaust Filter. I figure that should last a while. I'm not positive about the price, but I think it was in the $26.00 range. There is also an 800 number on the vacuum bag itself to contact Dometic directly about ordering. The number is...800-544-4881. Hope this helps...

Jan - Thanks for the tip, I think I'll pursue that.
