How are you hooking up your rig to the generator, with what type of plug or just the step down to a 115 circuit.

With the Hondas when using 1 we use a 110 adapter plug.

When running in parallel we use the 30AMP RV plug into this

Steve,
I am sure glad I have 2 bottles of propane. I do not think I would use 1 full bottle on the trip there, I just do not want to be dealing with carrying the bottles to get filled while on the road. The old shoulders are healing SLOWLY and those darn bottles are pretty heavy these days. =)

Dave, some rv parks have a refill station you can pull the Montana up to, or close to. For other times, I have a folding dolly I keep in the truck's crossbed toolbox. Works great for transporting a propane bottle to the refill station. I got it at either Home Depot or Lowe's. It's not very big but I used it to move a washer up the stairs in our stick home once. The base and legs fold flat and the handle telescopes. It lays flat in the toolbox and takes less than half the length of the bed. I use bungee cords to strap the bottle to the dolly.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

Thanks Steve,
I will keep my eyes open for one. Anything to help carry the weight these days would be a good thing. Should not be too long until your new 3400RL is here. =)

Jim,
There is a great deal of opinion on that very question. I will say that I tow w/ my fridge on propane all the time. I do not go in and shut it off for fuel stops, I feel that the coach is far enough away from the fuel pump.
