Dawn works well, don't use anything that's citrus based, the birds will peck at your roof

We use Dawn and Protectall cleaner.

We had a friend have buzzards tear strips off of his camper. Not sure why they were attracked to it, but if it is the citrus scent I would avoid using it.

Protectall is good; just make sure you wipe up any spill runs on the side of the unit.

Be sure you use something very mild if your RV is waxed. Too strong a cleaner will remove wax as it drains down the sides.

Thanks to all for the advice. Sounds like I need to go get some Dawn.

We took the easy route...use a product sold at CW intended to clean and treat roof in single application.
