Weather Radio

Can someone recommend a good weather radio for our Monty?

Thanks!

I think this was covered in a recent thread, so you might try a search. For myself, I like the Midland WR300. Reasons:
It will run directly from the trailer's 12v power, as well as 110v.
It can be hooked up to the trailer's TV antenna to increase range if necessary.
You can select alarm siren or voice, and control the volume of each.
It comes in tidy package that can be fitted in to small spaces.
plus it has all the features of most Weather Radios for a modest price ($50 on E-Bay).

I'm sure that there are others that offer similar features, and no doubt others will be along to explain their choices.

We are currently looking and got one at Radio Shack, which has since been returned, reason:

WAYYYYYYYY to loud in this small space. Volume control not nearly as good as the one John has purchased. Al will be looking for one like John's next.

I know you need them to wake you in the middle of the night, but the Radio Shack one just hurt, I can see real fast that we would have turned it off, and what good is that??

The one John and Donna have sounds like the one we have. Just loud enough and annoying enough to wake us. Have to agree with Carol ... don't need to be scraping ourselves off the ceiling!
