Outer TV interaction w/ door strut bracket screws!
One of the things that the service tech brought to our attention during the PDI concerns the screw heads on the strut brackets. He mentioned that all manufacturers have this problem as well. If the outside compartment door is slammed shut, the screw heads will impact the upper corners of the television and eventually will result in the frame corners chipping or even breaking. For now, we draped a couple of wash cloths over the corners for protection, but plan on using some felt pads on the screw heads at the brackets to provide some cushioned relief between the two surfaces. Curious if anyone has experienced this on the older models and hope this insight will help for the future.
