Sewer Hose storage
As most folks know the new hoses doesn't fit in the 4 inch tube that is under most travel trailers. I have been looking for a pipe with a inside diameter of 4 1/4 inch with no luck anywhere. The outside diameter of the pipe would be 5 inch. I looked everywhere and finely found a company that makes a tube for the newer sewer hose. Now I can get my sewer hose out of my storage compartment. I had to order one because i have 2 hoses to store in the tube. I will pick it up later today. I will take a picture of the box and post it later so everyone can try to get one for themselves.

Similar to DQDick, this is what we did, These were installed on our 2955. When we got the 3700, I painted them black to match its paint.

Do the newer Montanas not have a sewer hose storage compartment just above the sewer outlet like my 2007?

Same here. Have had these on my rigs for the last 7 years.

I attached a 6" by 8' PVC pipe under our 5er with a glued on cap on one end and a screw on fitting type end piece on the working end. The 6" gives me enough room to include pieces of PVC gutter to put on the slinky to hold the sewer pipe and get a good drain.

Ditto for me on the PVC fence post. Works great with a rain gutter slid inside to access everything. I can get 2 10 foot hoses inside - never tried the third tho.

They still do them, (we have a 2017), they are just useless.

My 2017 has the tube as well as the bumper being hollow. Both hold hoses just fine.

Must be smaller. Mine in my 2007 holds my Rhino hose, fittings, clear extension, donut, and rubber gloves.

i got a 5 inch lockable cover. Cut a hole into driver side front plastic wheel well and used the empty space inside the bottom trim panel under storage doors and center jack area.
Slide hoses in and out of the way.

Same on my 2017. No issues. The OP mentioned TT though, so maybe that's the difference between his and my fifth.

On the early models they had a dedicated compartment on the side, about 16x12" with lockable door. Built into fender, so no wasted of storage space. Can store sewer hose and extra parts by themselves, easier than using tube, and it is right next to dump.

I am sorry, it seems as if my brain must have slipped a gear last night.
The tube holds my rhino hose just fine, what it doesn't take into consideration is a place to hold the sewer connection. I still have to remove that and find a place in a compartment to store it individually. It would be nice to store all sewer equipment in a single spot away from all "non-contaminated" items.

Pete - the fence post tubes will fit the connection elbow piece if you kind of angle it in. Maybe the factory tubes are smaller. I couldn't fit it in when I had the roof eve spout thing all the way across the fence post, so I cut off about 8 inches. Hose and spout slide in and then drop in the elbow piece.

Here is the tag for the tube I found. It was a bit to long but it will filt 2 Rino hoses with fittings. I had some problems installing it because the frame is lower than the sides by 1 1/2 inch. I had to get some copper pipe to make up the distance. worked great looks ok. Not sure i would do this on a newer 5th wheel. I got black, didn't know I could get white. It was expensive to buy. I needed it before my trip but didnt want the pipe to flop around in the tube so this one gets the job done.

@ The Bone
What did this tube cost? I have looked at them at CW, but too expensive - I like the PVC corner post idea.

I too have the PVC post. When you insert a rain gutter inside it fits perfectly, and allows one to place 2 (or 3?) hoses inside and still have easy access . My angle piece that goes into the sewer on the ground is a little bigger, but by laying it at an angle, it also fits.
