resize before posting, with photo editing program. I believe there is an online site that does it too, but, I don't use, so, sorry cannot provide a URL.

I suspect the Admin's objection was to the size of the picture posted as part of the text. They standard for that is something like 600 pixels wide (I tend to use 400). If you want to post a link to the picture (where someone has to click on the link to see the picture), then any size is fine.

Many of us use a program named IrfanView (I think the authors name is Irfan). It is freely available on the internet (Google is your friend here) and has lots for functionality. Resizing images to specific pixel values is just one of them. It is pretty easy to use. Give it a try. If you have questions just post them in the "Computer Help" (or what ever it is named) part of the forum.

IRFANVIEW (HOME PAGE)

Great program for many things and the best part is that it is free.
Just click on the download link at the home page. Don't forget to download the plug-ins. Real easy to use. Does a good job on re-sizing.

Irfanview also has a version they sell. You may have to look around for the free version. I think it's in downloads or something like that. Any trouble finding it, use the envelope icon above this post and I'll send you my copy. The file is just over 1 megabyte in size. 1129kb to be exact.
