Welcome to the forum
This is a great place to share and find information about your Montana. We’ve never bought new and had to use the warrantee. We have the 3400 and we have been happy with ours. This is our second Montana.

2015 3910FB. Purchased July 2014. First year many issues. Back to Dealer April 2015. Everything fixed. Starting our third six month snowbird season in Florida in this rig. Since April, 2015 when everything was fixed or replaced: minor leak in bathroom, I fixed with sharkbite. LCI control pad failed, I ordered direct from Lippert, installed and programmed myself. Rear AC failed, replaced under Dometic warranty via mobile RV repair. Had a shattered window, assume by a rock, replaced by Dealer under my insurance. That is it, pretty good track record I think.

We purchased a 3160 this past spring. It's has been in for service so far three times with this last time being two months. I was told yesterday it was finished until I started going over the it's of repairs and found out some issues that were still not addressed. We were beginning to really hate this trailer but we decided not to fall into this line of thinking. It's only a trailer, a thing, no sense loosing your peace over it. Would I buy another Montana, no. I would probably get another Jayco but then again, Thor has taken over them so who knows.

We have a 2015 3582RL. It's been in the shop one time for a frozen black tank dump pull. That's it. Well except for the low bridge incident but that is another story. We love this rig and use it a lot. I spend 7 months a year living in it so it is well used. I wax it every year so it still looks like new.

We bought a new 3160RL in February of this year and absolutely love it. We've had a few small issues and one large one. We had a leaky valve in the toilet, and a couple small trim issues. Our biggest issue was with our door, it wouldn't close properly and when you did get it closed, you could still see light around it. All issues were addressed by our dealer and we are happy campers. The dealer makes all the difference and so far, ours has been great. We've spent about 4 months total in ours since February.

We had a 2005 Keystone Challenger and a 2010 Keystone Alpine and have been satisfied with all of them.

Mother & I love our 3160RL. We have had a few issues, nothing major, but I will say this. Research your dealer as much or more than the unit you intend to buy. A good dealer can make your experience very good or very bad! Ours is a 2015 and we use it a lot and love it. As others have stated, make it part of the deal to change out the tires to Sailun's or Goodyear 614's you will not regret it. Also ducted air would be a good thing, which is part of the Legacy package will give you extra things you might want. I wish I had known about it when we bought ours.

We have had our 3160 for 2 camping seasons. We had a great dealer that had all but a few minor issues resolved before we picked it up. PDI went smooth. This is our third Montana, and we wouldn't have purchased the second and third if we hadn't been so happy with the first. You will find your satisfaction regardless of brand directly related to the quality of your dealer. Just my two cents worth. My dealer has never had my unit for longer than a day. I live 500 miles from them. We schedule the appointment for when we're going through and they will have the parts. With that said, it is at another dealer right now for a cosmetic issue where our satellite receiver came out and dinged the fireplace mantle. We deliberately took it in after camping season so they can have it as long as they need it. Since it is not our selling dealer and is only cosmetic, I expect to be at the end of the line. Good luck with your decision. We really enjoy our 3160 and have had it places most wouldn't think of pulling it.

We generally like our HC, but warranty work is a pain. Slides were sort of fixed, but #1 slide still has issues. Roof still leaks around the AC. Had to wait 3 weeks to get it into the shop, then another 2 weeks waiting for factory approval, then 2 weeks to fix it. 2 months total in the shop. If Keystone cared more about quality control, I would have no beef. In my opinion, the electric slide mechanism on the HC is a poor design.
