This is our first time to Sevierville too. We went to the National Rally in Goshen in the fall of 2014. It was a very educational rally (and expensive - ended up buying a new RV!) Met lots of great folks. See you at Sevierville.

First Timers - Welcome to the Montana rally club. If you have any questions about the scheduled events, do not hesitate to ask. Where the National Rally is very seminar oriented, the regional rallys are more socially oriented!! Just come, volunteer, get to know fellow RVers, and have a good time!

Lynn, Paul and I won't be able to attend the rally this
year. I cancelled our reservations at River Plantation today so site 139 should be available.
I will miss seeing everyone but it can't be helped. I know y'all will have a wonderful time and we hope to see you again
sometime soon. Tell all hello for us.

Hey everyone,
I'm sad to say that we need to cancel our reservation to Sevierville rally this year. We ordered a new truck and it's expected to arrive around the time of that rally. Once it arrives we will have to put the hitch in it and do a few other things to do to get it ready to pull our 3610RL. We will to try to make it to Sevierville next year if that's where that regional rally will be. I'll call the campground and cancel our reservation for site 125 as well as notify the various organizers for the rally events.

Chip,
As I mentioned in a PM, our (that should read DW, but I have to be politically correct) travel plans will be such that we will be unable to attend this years Mid-Atl rally. This will be the first one we missed since we revived this rally back in the 2007-2008 time frame. We will sorely miss everyone and hopefully things will work out for next year. The details as to why we cannot attend rest solely on a particularly good-looking blue-eyed blond who has decided on two weeks at Topsail in Florida versus our usual one. The second week is the week of the rally and I feel it is my marital duty to KEEP MOMMA Happy. From the looks of the registration list, this may well be the largest Mid-Atl rally yet, showing the ever increasing interest from that first one in Staunton, Va. where we hosted nine rigs!! Have fun everyone.....and try to keep Jim Fischer under control!!!!

Bingo - Your reasoning is very justified " If the wife is not happy, the family . . . ". Hope you will able to make the next one!

Onekla - Congrats on the new truck! Sorry you have to cancel, but I do understand. We got a new truck in January and it does take some time to prep it.

Kathy - Sorry you guys had to cancel, but congratulations on the new truck. Remember our experience on the way to the Nat'l rally - brand new trucks do not like having these beasts dropped on them. 1,000 mile break in before heavy towing. LOL

Steve and are are beginning to discuss the possibility of coming. Trying to figure out where we will head from the UP of MI. It just might work into our travel. Looks like it's going to be a big one.

I really hate that we had to cancel at Sevierville. Hopefully, we'll get the truck in as scheduled so that we can get a few miles on it, get the hitch put in it and a few more little preps done before we head to Colorado in September.

Mike - Welcome to the MOC. Just call River Plantation and tell them you are part of the Montana group to get a site #. Once you have a site, respond to this topic. Also, sign-up for any of the events you choose to attend.
