Slide Adjustment & Seal Replacement
First I do have an extended warranty so this should be covered by warranty.
My bedroom slide has a chunk of the seal on the bottom of the slide missing. I know some people have mentioned the bottom seals not being the correct length on their units so not a big deal, I can have a new one installed. I just happened to notice this when I was looking at the scissor jack a couple of days ago. I went in the trailer and started looking at the bedroom slide from the inside. Things started looking funny to me. When extended the side of the bedroom slide closer to the front of the trailer is still about an inch from the wall. The side which is twords the bathroom is flush with the wall. Does this sound like something which would be a normal adjustment for a 2 year old trailer?
Thanks
Phil

It's hard to say without seeing it, but being new anything is possible. I would definitely have it looked at.

First question ... could there be something jambed between the slide and wall that travels with the slide? If not I'd guess the metal bracket that the rod of your cylinder hooks thru has come loose on one side from the plywood decking. Or ... the factory didn't bolt the slide mechanism to the floor square to the wall and you've just now noticed the difference side to side. If you do remove the plywood deck directly underneath your mattress for a look see ... do not snug both 1 1/4" (wrench size) nuts up together on the slide ram bracket ... there is a gap between them for a reason. Get help here if you do decide to tweek the slide cylinder.

I had to repair my bedroom slide and provided pixs of the repair in this forum.
I recommend that you reemove the bedding and look at the hydraulic assembly as it attaches to the slide. Could be as simple as a loose bolt on the slide.
But maybe you should check the warranty first. My job was not easy.
The posting shows what is under the bed and what I went through to fix mine:

I'd like to know what your outcome is. We have an extended warranty and I noticed when we were putting our Montana up for the wiunter that the main slide is a bit crooked. I need to get it adjusted and would love to know if it is covered in the extended warranty.

My bedroom slide was in need of adjustment from new. The local dealer told me it was fine. I have the 3/4 " gap at the bottom of my bedroom slide on the front side. Now a 2" black seal is coming loose on the outside middle of the bed slide.

The dealer told me slide adjustments are not covered under warranty. $200.00 per slide for an adjustment and seals are extra.
