LED order by 02/15/12 - Montana Owners Club

With the likes of Jack Lyons and others showing off their LED's at Quartzite, a few members have asked to place another order with the manufacturer.

We are about half way to our required minimums so our tentative date of February 15th may be moved up.

We have added a candelabra based bulb to our list and we have been enjoying them. Rondo and jpkelpe are the first members to see them in our rig when they were down here just the other day.

We continue to be excited by the positive reactions from MOC'ers who have installed the LED's in their rigs!

So far, we have had just one failure, which we replaced for Wiesehan and who was kind enough to send it to us so that we could forward it to the manufacturer for analysis.

We're happy with the manufacturer's responsiveness to our suggestions to improve the LED's and also to make entirely new ones like the candelabra ones.

So, if anyone wants to order some LED's, send us an email to rvtravlr@gmail.com and we'll respond with a price list.

Are these the flat style with several small square bulbs on one side? If so, what is the price? Thanks.

The flat ones that we have are halogen replacements, commonly known as G4's.

The rest are cylindrical - 921, BA15s and BA15d replacements.

For anyone sitting on the fence on ordering the LED lights, we saw Jack Lyons Rig with full LED lighting at Quartzsitr, the quality of light is over the top, what a great bulb.

We just order a total of 23 LED bulbs. I just hope Michael & Kat have another order later so we can replace all our bulbs. Short on cash Daughter in GAD. SCHOOL.

Thank you for doing this. Never thought we'd make use of them until we were sitting in the dark at the Q, afraid to run down the batteries. Carl Youngren loaned me a few bulbs to try and get us by.
What a difference in light and amp useage!

What is typical turnaround time after you give the order to the mfg. I only ask because I will be in Florida for 2 weeks the end of Feb and not home to retrieve the shipment.

We will probably have them by March 15th. We ship USPS Priority Mail, 3 day, so even if you will be passing through where a Post Office receives General Delivery, you will get them (we have used GD before with no difficulties).

We placed an order with Michael for led lighting and they arrived today. I put one in one of my ceiling lamps and compared the brightness with the old ones. The led's were much brighter. I must say I am very pleased. The transaction when smoothly and the results are great. Thanks again Michael.

Also recieved our order Michael! Now can you come up on your way back to Nevada and help up them in! Just kidding! I put the other order in while still on our "Snowbird Journey" and they are working great. Got the second order this week and will be putting them in when I get a chance to head out to the storage area or when we get the Monte ready to head out again in a couple of months. They are truly a money saver and as I told Michael in an email earlier, they even make me wonder if my converter is working properly because they save so much on the amperage used! I had all my 12 Volts turned on the converter wasn't showing any change from regular use so thanks to John Kolh and his idea, we opened and closed the slides a couple of times to get the wizard on the converter show us it was working properly. When I had the regular bulbs in it would work without the slides being moved! Thanks Michael! I still have a couple to get from you and then the complete rig will be LED!
