LED BATTERY READING LIGHTS

We are looking for LED battery powered reading lights that can be attached to the wall next to our recliners.
What I'm thinking of is something similar to the reading lights that you clip to a book. But larger with a flexable neck.
I'm getting to the point where I need lots of light to see what I'm reading.
I don't want to be fishing wires in the walls, that's why I want battery powered.

Thanks Larry P

Here's a bunch of them: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...reading+lights Possibly you could use the clips to hook them to the chair.

This is only a stretch, but how about a headlamp? The kind that has an elastic band and some of them even have several settings for brightness. This way you'll have light anywhere you go and in any seated location. I use one all the time camping and it keeps the hands free and walks with me wherever I go. You just have to remember to aim it downward slightly so that if you look up to talk to someone you don't blind them, but you'll get used to it as I did.

Here's some samples but there are many brands styles and option and even some with rechargeable batteries!

You'll also find some that clip onto the front of a hat or cap.

Just a thought.

Or try a higher quality LED puck light. Costco, Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, etc., carried them. Many are remote control.

Remember: the more LED's in the unit, the brighter. I have several in my current trailer and will be moving them to my new Montana after I bring it home this weekend (can't wait - I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas!).

Try to find puck lights that use AA or AAA batteries, instead of button or odd batteries. I use Eneloop rechargeable's in mine (in my opinion the only rechargeable batteries to purchase).

Ah yes, I agree with Rainer on the battery types. Even with rechargeables, AA or AAA lights last longer than disc batteries, so regardless of puck light, headlamp, booklights or stick on wall light rechargeable AA or AAA would be a good option.
