INSIDE STEPS ??

Walking down the steps from the bedroom last night I hear a CRACK and feal the step GIVE WAY. No questons that we have a PROBELM , but I cannot look the the wood framing from the basement , ( removed the bulkhead and looked aft )

Any suggestions clues ??

All models will be different. We can see the "box" that is the steps in the basement. The box is painted black. You could take the carpet off the steps and probably find the broken board that way.

The Mountainer we have is differant, I cannot see the wood frameing from the basement looking aft, at least I do not think I can. What I do see is a wood bulkhead ( not black ) I am only guessing that whole step assembly is one piece and that one board has broken ?? Not an easy fix from the campground...so off to the dealer on Monday as this will present a safty issue if not corrected ASAP.

On our 3655 FL the steps are carpeted if you dig into the carpet there are several screws you can remove and pull the step out and replace it.
