Extended Service Plan XtraRide

Anyone have experience with XtraRide extended servie plan? The dealer is offering 5 years for $2900, $100 deductible.

Read it carefully, ask questions. You need not get a service plan in the first year.Examine other plans example look at Cornerstone Rv service contracts .IMO 2900 is a bit high for a 5 year plan. We have had Service plans on both out Montana's since 2006 Do not rush into a Extended warranty (Service plan) t ill you do your homework.

The $00 deductible is where they get you. Add that to the cost of the plan and it could coast lots more money. Make sure it's per visit not for each single repair. So if you need 2 things fixed than it's $200.

I bought the XtraRide; $2900 for 7 years, $100 deductible, per visit.

Since my Montana is less than 1 year old, the dealer did me a favor (he did not have to, was not purchasing dealer) and sold the warranty as if the unit was new. I lost 10 months of the 7 years doing this, but got a better price.

That actually seems like a good price. Our dealer sold us a 5 yr plan with First Extended for ~$5900!! Joy insisted on an ESC. After doing a bit of homework. I cancelled two of the 3 warranties we were sold - ESC and tire warranty ($700). The full $$$ amount was applied to our principle balance 3 months after the request. Decided to get Coach Net after the 1st year of camping. We kept the 24/7Roadside Assistance from Coach Net.
