Removing shelf

I need input on removing the shelf from the cabinet where the washer/dryer connection is located. We have a 3931fb. We want to install a small freezer where the washer and dryer goes. I'm trying to see how to remove the cabinet shelf without tearing the wallpaper. I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks

Start with the screws from underneath.

The rest becomes apparent if I remember properly

Yes, remove the screws on the bottom flanges and it should just come apart by tilting one side and removing.

Exactly. Shelf just sits on the sideboards easily unscrewed. The bottom piece that runs the length of the closet left to right was the headache for our washer install. Could not get it removed without damage. I ended up leaving it in place, installing a drain pan, placing 2/4s in the outside front floor to level the washer with the bottom piece, and with a buddy and two straps, lifting and then sliding the washer in place.

Thanks for the advice. Here's a couple of pics of the new freezer. It draws 1.1amp, 3 cubic ft extra space
