New ? Re domed cage??

In the corner of our 2015 Montana bedroom on the ceiling is a round, plastic half domed cage with 2 screws holding in the ceiling. Only one in whole RV. What could this be? Thanks!

Yep, straight skinny given...it is the temp sensor for the bedroom. Living room is inside the thermostat control unit. John

Unless they've improved it, the bedroom one is near the AC vent so that it will cycle more often than necessary. One of the reasons folks don't recognize it for what it is.

Thanks for your help. It's right next to the window too so maybe it balances out between the A/C duct and the window?!
