Replacing 50 AMP twist Lock Club

I've looked on Camping World and their replacement 50 AMP plug does not have the threaded ring. Does anyone know where to get the replacement twist lock plug with the threaded sealing ring? or how to take the original plug apart to tighten the cord?

If you want to get something that is high-quality, here is a link. This is the type we had on the 3750FL and I will be putting one on the 3850FL very soon. I also have their shore cord and the connection between them is the most sturdy that I have seen, it eliminates the need for a 90 degree adapter to take the stress off of the connection:

Furrion 50 amp inlets

Just so we're clear here, are you talking about the male plug on the cord, or the female plug on the trailer?

I am talking about the male plug on the power cord.

They have high quality adapters on the same site I provided. Cost a little bit more, but you get what you pay for. If you really want to drain your wallet, install a new receptacle and purchase one of their shore cords!!

It's pretty easy to take the plug apart. I do it about once a year just to insure the individual wires (black, red, white, green) stay firmly under the lugs. Now that I have a 90 degree adapter probably won't be necessary as the stress is taken off the plug and cord.Looking at the side of the plug where the cord enters it you will see two screws. These screws hold the cord retainer tight to the cord. Loosen those screws. Now looking straight down at the face of the male plug you will see 2 or 3 recessed screws. Loosen these screws completely. This will allow the plug cover to separate from the plug. The cover will just slide down the cord. Tighten the lugs, slide the cover back over the plug tighten the recessed screws, tighten the cord retainer and done. If the black insulation on the cord has pulled back from the retainer you can just add a few wraps of electrical tape before tightening the retainer screws. Hope this helps! Jim

Ours came apart on our 2013 3402 Big Sky in less 13 months. We replaced it and added a 90 degree angle plug to eliminate the stress on the plug. Bingos' suggestion is the best way to go.

Sooner or later the cord will try to pull out of the plug and will drive you crazy with weird electrical problems inside your rig..... Drove me nuts and then I got a 90 deg adapter.....

We replaced both ends with a Marinco 90' plug. Included instructions made it easy even for me. We bought them at Camping World.

I was never able to find a female, 50 amp, 90 degree, plug end to replace the straight end of my existing cord. I wound up just using an adapter pig-tail.

Do you have a link to such a plug end? I don't see one on the Camping World website.

Camping World had them in stock at the Akron Oh. store when I stopped in there a couple of years ago. Now I can't even google it up. I'll go outside tomorrow and get a photo for you. Maybe I can find a part# for you. It may have been a Camco branded product. It's a pretty nice product. Although it was pricey, the electric cable sheath hasn't pulled back out.

My bad. Got a serious case of senioritis! My curiosity got stoked and I went outside and checked(with a flashlight looking for wayward snakes). Funny how a quick look can jar a memory. I got a locking female 50A plug(straight plug)and wired it in according to included instructions. The stress of the cable bending 90' to the ground will eventually(at least it did for me)pull the cable sheath loose from the plug and stress the wires inside the plug. I then bought a 90' locking adapter(I think this was the thing that was pricey). Sorry but I forgot I had the adapter on it since it never comes off. It wasn't a cheap way to go but I haven't had a problem since. Hence the forgetfulness.
