Another Flood
Been having trouble with the valve again on our Aqua magic style ll (4th time) So I went up and purchesed another valve package. Replaced it and, this time found out it must be the blade seal that the waste ball slides on. I have no clue how to fix that nor do I feel comfortable. So I guess its time to take it in, or have someone come out. Sheet $$$$$$

Try a few drops of Dawn dish soap on it, let set for a few seconds and flush. If fist time doesn't fix it, try again

When I bought my 2012 It never worked right from the get go it was REAL slow closing finally it just stopped closing it did not matter how much Lube I used and then the pedal broke it was still on Warranty so I called Keystone sent them a pic of the Serial number and Damage and they shipped me a whole new toilet and it only took about 15 min to install myself, easiest Toilet install I've ever done,I do not think they are too expensive if you have to buy one 180 bucks??? The new one works Perfect

This is what i did 4 years ago and it has not missed a flush since.
I took the unit apart and noticed that the black shaft with the two "O"rings on it was sticking. When I took the "O" rings off and put the shaft into the hole it would bind and still not work smooth. I put that shaft into my electric drill and using fine sandpaper worked on the shaft, without the "O" rings on it. After turning it down until it freely rotated when installed without the rings, I reinstalled the whole unit and it works without any more problems.

My aqua magic 2 flooded our monty while we at a relatives house and I had left the water on to the rv. The water valve decided to go into the on mode. I replaced it with the dometic 320 (which has a better valve). Oh and yes, the old toilet flushed okay if you used your foot to pull up on the pedal...but I lost faith in it. Now...life is good. John

Just an FYI: We had a similar problem with the Thetford Aqua Magic Style II. Talked to the Thetford Rep at the Atlanta GS Rally in Oct. Since they didn't have an answer they called the factory and let me talk to a Service Tech. Was told that the water valve is only good for approx 60 Lbs of pressure, so we've been using our pressure regulator set at 45 Lbs no matter what the water pressure looks like at the CG and haven't had a repeat.
Now the foot pedal is a different story, after approx 19 months of usage one of the ridges that keeps it into the base was totally worn off.
