Ron,
If you want to dry Camp the Imperial Dam BLM LTVA is nice. They have water, dump and trash pickup at the entrance to the area. It does fall under the $40 for 14 day fee. I am here until the 11th.

We stayed at Desert Paradise. Nice park, clean.....but really close to the railroad tracks. We heard trains all night long. We won't be staying there again.

Ron, when you are looking for a place, make sure you map the location and what it is near. We saw many a park next to the freeway and close to the RR tracks. After the Q, we stayed at Del Pueblo RV for a couple of days, but it was expensive at near $48 daily with tax. We are parked next to John at Imperial and in my opinion, it easily beats the best park in town. And it has nightly entertainment, just ask John.

Ron,
We are about 20 miles from Yuma (north). Use the Yuma Army Proving Grounds as your reference. We are about 2 miles from their main entrance.

Ron,
If being close to Los Algodones is the plan, there is plenty of boondocking off of Sidewinder Road or Ogilby road, both are just across the AZ/CA border. (one exit west of Los Algodones). FREE

The LTVLA at Sidewinder Rd is real close to the Shell station that has water and a dump station.

If you need an exact location, I can give you coordinates.

Las Quintas Oasis RV Park, Yuma, Arizona 85365 - 10442 North Frontage Road, From US 95 & I-8, go 10 mi E on I-8 (exit 12) Fortuna Rd, then .50 mi W on North Frontage Rd., GPS: 32.67104, -114.45382

Ron, this is a nice park with pull-thrus usually for a week or so. Bob & I have stayed here twice. The above info copied from the ALLSTAYS Camp & RV app.

Approximately 16 miles from entrance.

John, sorry we missed you guys today. We were up the road at the Wildlife Refuge and planned on coming down to see you when we got done. Had a flat tire in their parking lot and by the time we got everything back and running we had to head back to Superior since we work tomorrow morning.

Ah... I wondered if you had made it here.

Hope you get the job here next winter. The imperial LTVA is a pretty nice place. A lot going on for a BLM boon docking location.
