Solar reflective window tinting

Has any one had any experiences with solar/heat relective window film on their rigs? Does it truly help with A/C in summer heat ? Waht does it do to heating in the winter? Thanks

I've used similar in previous rigs, however, with the single pane windows, the tint is very dark...don't think it will need the extra film.

I have a 319BHD with a window at the head of my bed.In the winter time it felt like the window was open until I put in some of that window film with the bubbles.Works real good but also makes the room darker.

Being down here in Yuma for 8-9 months of the year, we NEEDED something to reflect the sun & heat both! We bought a roll of Refectives (bubble wrap with silver reflection material on both sides) from Lowes. We cut out a piece to fit each window (they fit right under the shade in against the window), and labeled them so when we take them out, we know where they go, when it comes time to put them back. We keep them on in the bedroom all year, because Mel needs it very dark to sleep. It works really well for us and they are easy to store under or behind the couch.

That is good stuff. I use it on my boat that sits in the Oklahoma sun all summer.

This is great stuff! We used it in our previous trailer both to keep out the heat and to keep the bed room dark. We have been in some RV Parks where either we end up next to the street lights or the person next to us has there "scare" light on all night. We took the previous trailer to a week long Astronomy Star Party where sleeping during the day was critical and the silver bubble wrap was in use by many. I would recommend that anyone heading to Alaska for the summer take some of this with them. In July in Fairbanks they have midnight baseball tournament that doesn't use artificial light. Gives you an idea of how light it is all night.
