I washed my roof yesterday, in preparation of beginning my annual spring wax job today. I have the same number of staples sticking up, however there are additional membrane movement on the rear right side edge. I also will not have mine submitted for repair by another dealer until later this spring or early summer.

Geez, sorry to hear about your problems with Keystone support. Guess I'll be scratching Keystone from my short list.

Others have mentioned these problems as being only a small percentage of the overall number of units sold. If so, then why can't Keystone own up to their "small percentage" of problems and fix them?

Poor customer service will bite them in the rear eventually. We all could cite examples of that happening in other industries.

Now that is a question to think real hard about.

They, Keystone, have forgotten something I learned in my early days in the car business.

Sales sells the first one, Service sells the second one.

They Definitely will not sell a second one here!!!

If Keystone really cared al all about the end user they would not have the dealer that sold ours still selling trailers for them.

I still like the lay out of our unit, and none of the frame, axles, or walls have had issues yet. I suppose my extended warranty can certainly take care of the issues that Keystone RV got out of fixing during the warranty period.

I am not going to go out of my way to bad mouth Keystone, but if anyone asks me at a CG or RV show for a recommendation I would certainly tell them my personal feeling is that Keystone RV does not support their products nor do they honor their factory warranty.

As far as purchasing another Keystone product, that will never happen.

And yet, they still sell every unit they make, and actually have buyers waiting in line. We have had very few issues, and ALL were taken care of. I don't think they will miss any of us. We are currently in a small park, 50 or so spaces, 7 Montana's or Mountaineer's, along with several other Keystone models. Everyone here, pretty happy what we have. If it was a car or truck, and you not happy, most would trade it off. I don't understand why people will complain for years and not do the same. I get it, you have a bad unit, not being serviced by manufacturer, life's to short, dump it and find something better, where there's a will, there's a way.

I think JandC explained a position and some here let it blow right on by them. Most any of us can't just swap RV's as easily as we can an automobile. He never said don't buy from Keystone. He stated he was unhappy with his current ownership of a Keystone product for good solid reasons. He did say he wasn't going to beat the tambourine about it, but would respond outright if asked about a recommendation based on his current unit. He went on to say he would continue on with his Montana till when ever trade time rolled around again. At that point his relationship with Keystone would draw to a close. Quite simply a bad enough experience has played out to the point of eliminating Keystone from the short list of his next RV purchase. Not all of us are fortunate enough to have minimal issues that were easily corrected. I don't see anything here that should bore or offend any of the rest of us to the point of saying "put up or shut up" as was eluded to in a previous reply.

As I promised Mr. Holms I don’t go out of my way to tell people about the Keystone problem but with the graphics peeling off the sides of the trailer I get ask about it.

When this happens I tell the whole story. You can tell by their body language that they figure I am just “sourer grapes” until we get to the sewer outlet that Keystone could not glue on straight. That commonly brings the situation to light and they find it difficult to consider the Keystone product afterwards.

When we went to the Marion NC rally I was able to look over the same model trailer not many S/N from ours. It was very obvious that our trailer was not built correctly and never finished properly and should have never left the factory. All of the areas we have had trouble with were constructed and finished correctly on the other trailer.

Our trailer had to have been deliberately shipped from Keystones facility in this condition.

In my opinion this indicates a labor problem.

Same here anyone asks me how I like my Ford Truck I tell them the .It has been a good reliable truck with not a single major problem .They ask me how
i like my Montana and I tell the truth. When they ask have you had any problems I ask "how much time do you have". We do not bash. We do not tell them not to buy one.

I will always end the Conversation with "If I thought there was a better product in the price range I would have it. That is the truth.
We have always had good luck with keystone customer service and we have a good dealer. Mr Holms who is mentioned frequently on this forum has always been straight up with us.
