Heater

2014 Montana 3100RL
AC blower comes on when Heater is turned on. Is this normal? Can't consult Manual, it is in storage with trailer.

Go into your thermostat settings, and in the A/C mode, set the fan control to AUTO, then go back to the heat mode. We had the same with ours a couple winters ago.

Yup, having the A/C fan running with the heater is a "feature". As rohrmann wrote, you have to set the fan on Auto in A/C mode to avoid having it run in heater mode. Why? Nobody knows the reason but it is documented in the manual for the thermostat.

Music man, glad you got your problem figured out. Since you,Rich and Carl have one of those new fangled rigs I bet you can control your thermostat from your Lazy Boy.... When Ma tells me she is cold I need to get up and walk over and crank the heat up by hand.. But I figure that is good time to get a beer or coffee (depending on the time of day of course)... I knew one of the boys with the newer systems would be able to help you out.
