AC question

My bedroom air conditioner has a filter in the unit like most A/C units. But the main A/C has a vent on either side overhead in the living room, and I was wondering if it has a filter, and if so, where is it?
Also, does the furnace have any kind of filter? New to Montana so I'm trying to do things right. Thanks...

Livin room AC probably has filters above the two grates, or it should

Yes, there are filters under the two grates. A real pain to maintain. They need a better way.

Dewey, first welcome to the forum, and addressing the furnace filter, I made a couple of sheet-metal angles and cut down a pleated filter to fit the area, mine is a 07 3400RL, the return is under the steps.
Should be no problem for a tool and die maker
