New Cabinets

I would like to change my cabinets and trim from oak to light maple. Has anyone else tried this and have an estimate on the cost?

Instead of removing the cabinets, you could have new doors and drawer fronts made, and reface the cabinet face frames and sides with a veneer. Whatever you do, it will be a lot of work.

but i bet don could do it while in goshen in a few weeks

The veneer would probably work with the cabinets, but the trim (doors, window frames, trim around slideouts, etc) would be difficult.
