5th wheel hitch

At present I have a 16K Husky slider, can I without moving or changing the rails go to a larger hitch. I am in the process of trading tow vehicle and part of the deal is that they will move my hitch to new dully. I not need the slider as I am going to 8ft box, so later would like to get a 24K Husky hitch, and dont want to drill more holes in bed. Reason going to larger trailer. Also is their a site where I can trade or purchase used hitch?
Thanks Ron

Shazam......How big of a camper are you thinking of pulling with that dually, unless it is a freightliner, that you need a 24K hitch?????

Husky is owned by Valley, with some hitches made by Valley and some by RBW.

Try here:

Valley: http://www.valleyindustries.com/ or 800-344-3112/3230.

RBW: http://www.rbwindustries.com/ or 800-451-7821 or 909-591-5359/8279.

No I dont need at 24K hitch, but the Husky/Valley jumps from the 16K that I have to 24K with nothing in between, or so I have been told. All I want to know is do I have to change the rails, or can I use the one I have already installed. The 16K is a little short of what I will need when I make my next RV trade.

I'm not sure about the Husky hitches but Reese hitches add extra bolts in the middle of the bed rails on their 20K and above hitches.

You can usually find the specs (measurements) for various hitches by checking out the owners/installation manuals on their web sites. I have been able to switch from Reese to RBW without changing or moving the rails.
