I just learned...

I just learned that B&W recommends a pad to go under the Companion Hitch for the 2011 Fords. They will send one out free. Mine is on the way. They do that to protect the rib design in the floor of the 2011 Fords. They recommend it be used even if you have a spray-in Bed liner.

I found this out by reading the installations instructions again. There was a small note in a little box in the corner that caught my eye. I called the installer who put in the hidden rails of the ball hitch to find out if he knew this. He did not, but was very glad to get the info because the majority of his installations are in 2011 Fords. He should read the flyers the manufacturer sends.

Sometimes good things happen when you read the instructions.
