full time and mfg warranty

I read somewhere that some rv mfg will not honor the warranty if the rv is used for full timing. We are considering a 2005 Montana 3670rl and am wondering if anyone has had a proble with the warranty because they are full timers?

Hi Judy,

There may be some brands where that's the case but we're fulltimers and have never had a problem getting warranty work. In fact, last month we had some work done at the Montana Service Center right at the factory. Those folks know we are fulltimers. I think if you read through MOC you'll find Keystone is excellent at standing behind their product. That's one of the big reasons why when we traded our first Montana we bought another Montana. The other reason was the quality, 'bang for the buck' if you will, with the Montana. We've put 25k miles on this one and are very pleased with how it held up. We had an axle problem but Keystone replaced the axles without charge to us even though we were two months past the axle warranty. I don't know they'd do that forever but they recognized some were having axle problems and took care of their customers. By the way, they've since switched axle manufacturers.

Keystone has never, to my knowledge, refused to warrant their products when being used for full-time living. In fact, they did a considerable amount of work on our Montana after it was four years old, at no charge.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. As others have said in other forums, Keystone is a good reliable company that is only interested in providing good customer service.
