Diesel fuel in Kansas

While heading through Kansas this afternoon, noticed the need for a fill-up. Passed through Kingman, KS and and saw no stations with diesel. Turned the rig around to look more, and still none. Stopped at a feed store that was open, and asked the owner, and he started apologizing for the town not having retail diesel, said the last diesel station closed about 1 1/2 years ago. As we were getting pretty low, he volunteered to lead me over to a card lock facility and I payed him cash for enough diesel to safely get us to the next town that had diesel. Just fair warning--if you find yourself on US-54 in Kansas, don't expect to fill up in Kingman, get it in Wichita or Pratt.
