Ever seen a Montana like this?
I saw this Montana parked near the entrance to Pla-Mor Campground during the Rally. I have seen the brochures from Montana for 1999 and 2000 but there was nothing like this in them.

It was there when we were at the rally. I have only ever seen 1 or 2 other Montana TTs and they were always heading in the opposite direction..

We noticed the Montana travel trailer as well. This was the first one we have ever seen and were not aware that a travel trailer was produced -- thought only fifth wheels.

I have never seen a Montana like this one. But I will say, somebody has a great sense of humor! Very funny. Thanks for sharing.

I don't recall that particular one at Pla-Mor. But we've seen a few Montana travel trailers. I don't recall any with aluminum siding, though.

Yes, I saw that one, and one like it at the Toronto RV show a few years ago. It was the first Montana I had ever seen, and I remember that it had just been sold to a couple who cancelled a Prowler deal to get the Montana. At the time aluminum was the standard finish and fibreglass was an extra cost (and weight) option. I had the brochure for a while, but I think we threw it out some time before we joined the Montana ranks . I'm thinking that it must have been the first year of production.

There's one that's owned by a couple that lives about 6 blocks from our house - they keep it there.

We met a couple with a Mountaineer 315RL at Seaside Oregon. It was labled as a Montana. It took me 2 days to figure what was diff. The only reason I was interested was that we were looking at them prior to deciding on the Monty and I reckonized the unit. The wife made them label it Montana because she told dealer when they bought it that it was a Monty and it better come labeled "AS ONE".
It was her husband that pointed out the lack of storage space in the unit. Which led me to buying the Monty! He wanted Dinnete for the storage and she demanded Table and chairs. To tow the thing and have storage, that he didn't have to climb over, he traded his F-250 for an Excursion!

A guy i use to work with bought a Montana 2004 model. At the time I just figured it was a 5th wheel.I never saw it.Just recently talked to him and he told me it was a travel Trailer 32 feet long with 2 slides.I`am pretty sure from talking to him that it has fiberglass sides.

I checked the manufacturers plate on the one at Pla-Mor and it was a 2000 model. Strange..... I know that Mountaineers are labelled as 'Mountaineer by Montana' which may cause some confusion but this one was labelled 'Montana'.

Ours looks similar, but a 2 door. Its a 2000 Mountaineer 305FKS but has Montana decals. The only place it says "Mountaineer by Montana" is near the front door where the model no. tag is. I'd say that Snoopy doghouse (or whatever it is) on the stone shield is an add on, though !! As I recall, Mountaineer was the monicker for TTs and Montana and Big Sky were the 5ers until they built the new factory in Goshen. I think Montana/Mountaineer used to be like Chevrolet/ Impala - a make and model. Here's ours !!

VanMan, I noticed the url you provide is messed up when it posts here. After experimenting it finally because clear it's the 'at' sign that the software doesn't like. I tried a couple of ways to get around this so you can post the url but so far it's still smarter than me.
I was able to see your pictures (nice pictures!) by copying the url from http to the end, including the part that looks like an email address, then posting that into my browser's address window.

It's smarter than me, too! I tried several things, but finally just removed the link (not enough time to mess with it). I'm surprised you saw it because I changed it about 4 times immediately, trying to get it to work.. You're right - the forum recongnizes the "@" as an e-mail address and messes up the link.

It was still on mine because I use Active Topics and start with the top thread and work my way down. The url was still there until I posted mine, then the refresh showed it gone. Your edit probably happened after I set Active Topics and before I posted. I, too, tried several things. When I put quotes around it without the url tags it shows the whole thing but clicking on it just gets you to the email part so I had to copy/paste. I suppose this is a bug in the forum software. It apparently identifies the @ as being part of an email address. It should suspend that logic when it's working within the url tags, or img tags, or other tags. You might be able to use html coding but I'm getting beyond my expertise there. You could still put in the url with just quotes around it and tell people to paste the two parts together if you want.

Sorry to tell you, VanMan, but it tells me I am not the owner of that site and to be sure to log in.
