On the stool room wall facing the bed is a plug. Does anyone know if the wire for this plug comes up from the basement. I want to run power from an inverter near the batteries to that plug. Using half the plug for the inverter power and the other half from the 110 circuit.

You can pull the cover plate and look but I think most, if not all, of the wiring comes down from the top.

I'm 99% sure it's the other way around. Wiring from the top down would use more wire - which would cost more - and we all know where manufactures are on costs.

Our 2006 3075 had a plug in the bedroom like your's and the wire came up from the basement.

Either way you will have to replace the outlet if you want one outlet from the inverter and the other on rig wiring, these outlets are "pressed in wire" type. so both sockets are either one or the other... Dave

Thanks for the info. If the plug has to be changed that's fine as it would be a lot neater and more easier to have both in one plug.I will let you know how it goes.

I installed a new box on the side of the bed support and ran the wire under the bed and down the hole with the hyd. lines into the front compartment. I used a heavy ruber covered wire so it could flex when the bed moves. It works great for my inverter. It was an easy job and only took a short time.
